Our client in the New York area is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Technologist for a full-time Point of Care position. Qualified candidates must be ASCP certified, have experience as a Medical Technologist, and be eligible for New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist. A sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities of the Clinical Laboratory Technologist:

  • Perform lab testing as a Medical Technologist.
  • Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
  • Be comfortable in a high-volume setting.
  • Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

Requirements of the Clinical Laboratory Technologist:

  • ASCP or equivalent certification required.
  • BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required.
  • Eligible for New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist.
  • 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred.
