Job Overview

In this role, you'll be instrumental in making a real impact in the communities we serve, embodying our purpose every day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining an atmosphere of friendly and enthusiastic service.
  • Take orders, answer questions, and perform suggestive selling.
  • Prepare, stock, display, straighten, and rotate product in fresh food cases.
  • Prepare production items according to recipes, food safety procedures, and/or specified cooking times.
  • Inspect all product for quality and freshness.
  • Clean and maintain department equipment, including fryers, slicers, and dishwashers.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary department, including washing parts, tables, and wrapping stations.
  • Receive inventory, stock, and verify receipt of ordered product.
  • Follow strict sanitary guidelines and complete associated records.
Requirements
  • Ability to work varied hours, primarily between 5:00 am and 10:00 pm, in a 24/7 operation.
  • Effective communication skills to receive orders and perform customer relations.
  • Conduct visual inspections, read and follow production guides, recipes, and product labels.
  • Perform basic math and compute weights and measures.
  • Complete training course and meet minimum time standards of productivity and accuracy.
  • Wear personal protective equipment as required.
  • Use cleaning chemicals and handle related food products.
  • Stand, walk, and move rapidly for extended periods of time.
  • Lift up to 50 lbs. occasionally and reach, push, and pull racks.
  • Work around machinery emitting heat.

  • Food Handlers Certification (Per State Laws).

  • Cash Register.
  • Film over wrapper, digital scales, etc.
  • Knives and other kitchen utensils.
  • Electric Slicers.
  • Deep fryers, ovens, etc.
  • Oil filtering machine.
  • Dishwasher.
  • Trash compactor.
  • Cardboard bailer.
  • Hand, pallet jack.
  • Conveyor ovens.

Compensation

Minimum: USD $16.50/Hr.

Maximum: USD $27.45/Hr.
