About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Scenic Artist to join our team at Point Park University. As a Scenic Charge, you will play a key role in the success of our productions and events. You will be responsible for overseeing the scenic paint and treatments, ensuring that all work meets the highest standards of quality and safety.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about theatre and has a strong background in painting techniques and applications. You will be working closely with designers, directors, and artists' representatives to bring their visions to life on stage.

**Responsibilities Include:**

  1. Leading a team of students and production staff to achieve the highest standards of artistic integrity (50%)
  2. Mentoring students in the technical aspects and safety procedures of the scenic paint department (30%)
  3. Ensuring that all facility areas are maintained and supported during events and productions (15%)
  4. Performing other related duties as assigned (5%)
