About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at TJX Companies, Inc. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and developing a high-performing team of associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and Operations: Assist the Store Manager in overseeing the visual presentation of the store, including merchandise displays and floor layouts.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that every customer has a positive shopping experience by providing exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
  • Human Resources: Hire, train, and develop a team of associates to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.
  • Loss Prevention and Operational Programs: Oversee and monitor loss prevention and operational programs to minimize losses and ensure compliance with company policies.
Requirements
  • Experience: Two (2) years' of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal, strong communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a large team.
  • Volume Responsibility: Previous volume responsibility of $5 million or more.
