Role Summary

The Meal Service Attendant plays a crucial role in ensuring effective communication with patients, staff, and visitors to guarantee the precision and timeliness of patient meal deliveries and inventory management. Key responsibilities include transporting meal carts to patient areas, assisting with meal setup at bedside, managing the disposal of used trays, conducting inventory checks in nourishment stations, restocking supplies, and proficiently using technical equipment. Additionally, the Meal Service Attendant will handle sanitation duties, including cleaning dishware, equipment, and performing janitorial tasks. While the responsibilities listed below are typical for this role, management may assign additional tasks based on operational needs and client specifications.
