Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to join our team at Vital Care of Tulsa. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will provide clinical pharmacy services to patients and consumers, ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications and supplies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services to patients and consumers, including the evaluation of physician orders and the compounding of sterile preparations.
  • Supervise the activities of pharmacy support personnel and ensure quality control and performance improvement procedures are in place.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Licensed pharmacist in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy in the state of Oklahoma.
  • Good interactive skills with employees, referral sources, physicians, and consumers.
  • Three (3) years clinical experience, with a minimum of one (1) year of experience in infusion therapy and sterile compounding.
  • Sterile compounding training and experience with management of pharmacy support personnel.
  • College degree and registered with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy.
  • General knowledge of USP 797 and knowledge of IV products and compounding procedures.
  • Ability to perform pharmacy calculations and adhere to policies and procedures.
