Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Exercise Science Instructor/Assistant Professor to join our faculty at Saint Xavier University. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in shaping the minds of future health professionals and contributing to the university's mission of community, teaching, learning, and research.


Key Responsibilities
  • Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Exercise Science, including lectures, labs, and clinical experiences.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the program's goals and outcomes.
  • Advise students in their academic and professional pursuits.
  • Engage in scholarly activities, such as research, publication, and presentation.
  • Participate in service to the university, community, and profession.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:


  1. A Ph.D. in Exercise Science or a related field (master's degree with significant experience may be considered).
  2. Experience teaching in higher education or a related setting.
  3. Certification from the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) or the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) is preferred.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
