Job Description

Soliant is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school setting in Lima Center, WI. This role involves assessing and diagnosing speech, language, and communication disorders in students, developing individualized education plans, and providing direct therapy. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, a valid Wisconsin state license, and experience working in a school setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs.
  • Provide direct therapy to students with a variety of speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication goals within the classroom environment.
  • Track and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure effective outcomes.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input and recommendations for student support.
  • Offer guidance and training to staff and families on strategies to support speech and language development.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Wisconsin state license as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
