Position Overview:

  • Practice Type: Outpatient only
  • Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with no evening or weekend obligations
  • Daily Responsibilities: Conduct consultations and follow-up visits, with dedicated administrative time
  • Patient Care: Manage individuals with neurological disorders, including post-stroke care, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, and migraines
  • Patient Load: Average number of patients seen daily
  • Support Staff: Work alongside a medical assistant and a dedicated support team

Essential Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in Neurology
  • Unrestricted Maryland Medical License
  • Current DEA certification required prior to employment
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Proficient in Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
  • Strong time management abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of experience in outpatient neurology
  • Background in managed care settings
