We are seeking a highly skilled Physician-Radiology Specialist to join our team at Matrix Providers. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Perform interpretation of special radiographic studies, including fluoroscopic procedures, radiographic procedures of the genitourinary tract, and musculoskeletal studies.
- Interpret the results of screening, indicated, or diagnostic mammograms, including needle localization of any masses found.
- Evaluate, interpret, and report diagnostic imaging findings for all four NHCNE sites.
- Read and interpret all "A" Read Chest X-Rays as required under the Asbestos Program.
- Anticipate potential problems/emergencies and make appropriate interventions.
- Apply an awareness of legal issues in all aspects of patient care and strive to manage situations in a reduced risk manner.
- Perform timely, accurate, and concise documentation of patient care.
- Be responsive to all email and voicemail communications.
- All records and reports must be legible.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree.
- Graduate from an accredited medical school in the United States or Canada.
- Possess and maintain board certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology.
- BLS Required.
- Successful completion of an internship and residency program corresponding to the specialty required.
- Possess a minimum of three (3) years of clinical practice in a Diagnostic Radiology Department within the last four (4) years.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in State of Connecticut.
