">About the Role
">This is a full-time permanent position, offering a competitive salary range of $45,420 - $71,680 per year. As a Nursing Care Professional, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of diagnostic support duties, including taking vital signs, documenting patient's pain perception, obtaining specimens, administering medications, receiving and recording lab results, positioning patients, and assisting physicians with procedures.

- Serve as a member of the healthcare team with an assigned complex patient load;">
- Perform a wide range of diagnostic support duties, including vital sign monitoring, documentation, specimen collection, medication administration, laboratory result reporting, patient positioning, and procedure assistance;">
- Support patient and/or family in the integration of the patient plan of care toward changes to improve health;">
- Observe and document pertinent information regarding patient status in the electronic health record;">
- Participate in planning patient care that is consistent with accepted nursing standards and in compliance with prescribed medical treatment plans;">
Requirements
">To qualify for this position, applicants must possess a current license to practice as a practical or vocational nurse in a State or territory of the United States or the District of Columbia. Additionally, they must demonstrate at least six (6) months of nursing experience or meet the requirements for grades GS-4 and above. A background investigation and fingerprint check may also be required.
