About the Job:
Our client is a reputable health care system with locations throughout Central California. We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Chart documentation according to clinic standards, specific forms documentation, referrals and ordering specific tests.
- Follow-up on specific disease categories and no show evaluations.
- Review laboratory, x-ray and referral documents prior to filing.
- Health Education coordination for patient follow-up for specific health education issues.
- Refer to approved medical protocols and/or guidelines for treatment.
- Participates in on-call schedules.
- Will provide phone triage on rotational basis approximately once every 3-5 months on weekends or during evening hours.
Qualifications:
- Accredited NP Program
- CA NP license
- CPR/BLS cert
- Bilingual (English/Spanish is preferred)
