Shenandoah Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated EMS Paramedic to join our team.

Job Summary:

The EMS Paramedic will be responsible for providing emergency medical care to patients in a variety of settings, including emergency medical services, hospitals, and other healthcare facilities. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions, including cardiac arrest, trauma, and medical emergencies.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and perform various medical procedures, including endotracheal intubation and intravenous therapy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including medical histories, treatment plans, and outcomes.
Requirements:
