Job Overview

Van's Home Center is seeking a reliable and skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. This role involves delivering a wide range of home furnishings and appliances to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient service.

As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for operating various vehicles, including box trucks and express vans, while adhering to strict safety standards and DOT regulations. You will also need to load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicles as needed.

We offer a competitive estimated salary of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location. Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a variety of items to different addresses and routes
  • Installation of home appliances
  • Exude respect for customers and their properties, taking all necessary precautions to avoid damages during delivery and/or installation
  • Follow route and schedule
  • Load, unload, prepare, inspect, and operate delivery vehicle as needed
  • Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jack
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards
  • Must be able to lift and move a minimum of 50-100 pounds
