Job Title: CNC Machinist

Company Overview: Lamek Industrial Corporation is a small, well-established machine shop seeking an experienced CNC machinist to join their team.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Job Description:

  • Set up and operate FANUC controlled machinery, including Mori Seiki mills and HAAS mills, to produce high-precision parts according to customer specifications.
  • Read job cards, customer drawings/prints, and other documentation to ensure accurate production.
  • Inspect finished parts and fill out inspection reports to maintain quality control.
  • Communicate effectively with other machinists in the shop and from other shifts to ensure smooth production.
  • Clean and maintain work area/tools to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required.
  • Experience using FANUC controlled machinery and ability to read and interpret drawings/prints.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
