A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

As a Medical Assistant, you play a crucial role in ensuring that we provide attentive and compassionate patient care. You will warmly greet patients and assist them upon arrival, preparing them for their consultations by setting up examination and procedure rooms, as well as gathering their medical histories, vital signs, and measurements. You may also perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments and managing essential documents like medical records and test results. While maintaining a reassuring presence, you will assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A MEDICAL ASSISTANT

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proficient in computer usage, including EMR/EHR systems
  • Strong computer skills
