Job Description

We're on the hunt for enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Carhops/Skating Carhops at Sonic Drive-In. As a Carhop, you'll be part of an elite group, serving and delivering food safely and efficiently to our guests. If you're a team player who enjoys providing courteous service, we want to hear from you

Responsibilities
  • Ensure all restaurant menu items meet operational standards
  • Greet guests in a polite and friendly manner
  • Make accurate change quickly and efficiently
  • Carry and balance a tray weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Serve guests in a timely manner
  • Clear trays from our guests' cars
Requirements
  • Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to be flexible in all situations based on business need
  • Effective communication skills; basic math and reading skills
  • Willingness to abide by the appearance, uniform, and hygiene standards at Sonic
Skating Carhop Requirements
  • Successfully completed assigned Sonic Skating Training Program
  • Roller skate proficiently and frequently on various surfaces when delivering food
  • Ability to continuously stand, balance, and carry a tray, and sweep while roller skating
