Overview:
Institutional
Immerse yourself in cutting-edge institutional-grade technology, collaborating with industry experts and gaining exposure to various asset classes, including equities, options, fixed income securities, and advanced trading, research, and management technologies.
Responsibilities:
Position Purpose:
Oversee risk management for introduced broker-dealers ("IBD"), Prime Brokers, and Direct Clients through programming, reporting, and regulatory calculations. Conduct market surveillance for risk monitoring of credit extended under Regulation T and FINRA 4210.
Calculate hypothetical portfolios to assess potential impacts on value at risk requirements and collateral usage across various financial clearing and settlement facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Daily reporting of all trade activity from the previous day.
2. Prepare daily analysis of NSCC and OCC collateral requirements.
3. Generate, analyze, and distribute multiple daily risk reports.
4. Evaluate trade failures in relation to market risk.
5. Calculate firm and customer concentrations.
6. Monitor and escalate risk equity calls related to portfolio margining under FINRA 4210.
7. Prepare reports and documents for senior management meetings.
8. Survey all market exposure to customer margins and proprietary inventory accounts.
9. Create and program critical database reports.
10. Monitor intraday market fluctuations for equity deficiencies.
Qualifications:
Required:
Proficiency in Excel.
Preferred:
SQL programming skills.
Experience in Risk Management.
Knowledge of the securities industry.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in a business-related field.
