The Physical Therapist will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with various medical conditions, injuries, or disabilities. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
Duties and Responsibilities- Evaluates patients' medical histories, performs physical exams, and develops individualized treatment plans.
- Conducts physically based therapies, such as exercises, stretches, and manual techniques, to improve patients' mobility and function.
- Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care, including physicians, nurses, and therapists.
- Maintains accurate records of patient progress and communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and services.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or related field.
- Current licensure in the state of West Virginia or applicable state where services will be performed.
- One year experience in physical therapy, preferably in acute care, outpatient, SNF, or HH settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
