Brunswick Corporation is seeking a skilled Service Technician to join our team. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining boats, outboard, sterndrive, and inboard engines, as well as other vessels.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair and maintain boats and engines to ensure they are in good working condition
- Examine repair orders and vessel specifications to determine the extent of repairs required
- Consult with supervisors and service administration regarding installation or repair problems
- Provide top-notch service to customers by providing courtesy safety inspections and researching service history
- Self-manage allocation of time towards individual repair orders, keeping in mind efficiency goals and minimizing effort towards non-billable labor tasks
- High school diploma
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces
- Ability to safely bend, stoop, and climb ladders on a daily basis
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with MVR meeting company standards and clean background/drug screening
- In-house training and certification in the marine technician field
