Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of data models that drive visually interactive and actionable dashboards using data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, and Looker.
  • Analyze and understand complex data sets, identifying issues and anomalies, and work with IT professionals to implement corrective processes.
  • Acquire and maintain data from primary or secondary sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Identify and interpret trends or patterns in data sets, providing insights to inform business decisions.
  • Provide exceptional customer support to internal and external stakeholders, addressing procurement, accounts payable, contracts, sourcing, and procurement technology inquiries.
  • Collaborate with UPST Leadership and process owners to drive strategic improvement initiatives, enhancing the end-user experience.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement and satisfaction strategies, working closely with the Director of Service and Quality and other team members.
Requirements
  • Current UMass student enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in Communications, Marketing, or General Business.
  • GPA 3.0 or higher.
  • Creative, motivated, and willing to take initiative on assigned projects/tasks.
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task, stay organized, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, with emphasis on Excel and Pivot Table capabilities.
  • Proficient in Python code and Predictive modeling.
  • Great communication skills and ability to handle stressful situations.
