**Job Overview**

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled and compassionate Wound Care Registered Nurse (RN) to join our travel healthcare team.

The Wound Care RN will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with a variety of wound conditions, including chronic wounds, surgical wounds, and pressure ulcers.

The ideal candidate will have specialized training in wound care and a dedication to improving patient outcomes through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' wound conditions and develop treatment plans to promote healing and prevent further complications.
  • Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of wound care interventions, including dressing changes, debridement, and topical treatments.
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records of wound care activities.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing.
  • Minimum one year of experience as a Wound Care RN, preferably in an acute or long-term care setting.
  • Specialized training in wound care, such as CWOCN or CWCN certification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
