We are seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team at Hampton Inn Bowling Green. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Linen Processing: Collect, transport, sort, weigh, load, and unload washers, dryers, and laundry chutes, as well as fold, store, and deliver linens.
- Washing and Drying: Wash and dry all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc., according to management's instructions.
- Sorting and Folding: Remove and sort dirty linens and towels from laundry carts, and fold linens/towels and stock linen carts as required.
- Equipment Maintenance: Understand the operation of washing machines and dryers, clean dryer filters daily, and maintain all equipment as trained.
- Safety First: Always practice safe work habits to ensure safety for guests and fellow employees.
- Floor Maintenance: Sweep and mop laundry floors, storing all linens off the floor.
- Cleanliness: Keep laundry carts clean and free of debris.
- Knowledge and Skills: Be familiar with all Company policies and Brand Standards.
- Stocking and Delivery: Stock all linen closets throughout the hotel, as applicable.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.
