This Assembly Operator role is a great opportunity to work with a global company in the medical device industry.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assembly Operator to join our team in North Tonawanda, NY. As an Assembly Operator, you will be responsible for performing various assembly tasks, including pouching, tying threads, and assembling components.

Responsibilities
  • Perform pouching tasks, including assembling ID cards into pouches with plastic plungers
  • Tie threads onto automated components using manual fixtures
  • Assemble tied components and pouched sub-assemblies with additional required plastic components
  • Seal assembled components in preparation for sterilization and final packing
  • Complete final packaging of finished units, including required printed literature, for shipment
  • Assemble demonstration units (Non-Sterile) exclusively for training purposes
Requirements
  • Hand-eye coordination skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; 2-year Degree preferred.
  • Experience in small hand assembly on assembly lines, particularly within a cGMP environment/facility.
  • Proficiency in inspecting components and finished products
  • Familiarity with factory assembly procedures.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools
  • Demonstrated high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to comprehend and follow written procedures in English
