Are you passionate about Disaster Management? Do you possess expertise in planning, mitigation, or grant oversight? We are looking for a Grant Manager to work in Fort Worth, Texas, focusing on managing mitigation grants.

This position offers a Hybrid work arrangement, tailored for those in the Dallas / Fort Worth area.

As a Grant Manager, you will collaborate with subrecipients to ensure effective management of mitigation grants. You will also support Sector Leads in financial oversight and grant administration, ensuring tasks are completed with quality and punctuality. Your responsibilities will include maintaining workloads, managing assignments, and tracking key performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist subrecipients in developing and implementing grant applications.
  • Monitor the progress of cases from documentation validation to closeout.
  • Facilitate the resolution of grant-related issues and concerns.
  • Address challenges presented by Task Force Leaders.
  • Enhance procedures while maintaining effective communication.
  • Track each case as required in the project management information system.
  • Evaluate performance using key metrics.
  • Keep the management team updated on issues, challenges, and resolutions.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, demonstrating strong listening and negotiation skills.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3+ years of experience in planning, mitigation, or disaster management
  • 3+ years of experience with CDBG - DR
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience in grant management with FEMA or HUD
  • 3+ years of Grant Management experience
Professional Skills:
  • Strong communication skills to address client issues and prioritize projects.
  • Ability to facilitate meetings and present complex information clearly.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities with a proactive approach.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Ability to perform under pressure, both independently and in a team setting.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a focus on client service.

Pay Range: The compensation for this position is determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skills, certifications, geographic location, and education. The pay range for this role is between $65,000 and $111,207.00.
