Maintenance Superintendent

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Training Superintendent to join our team at FireStarters Recruiting. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical power applications to train and develop our maintenance team members.

1. Training and Development
   1. Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for maintenance team members, focusing on mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical power applications.
   2. Develop and maintain a training curriculum that aligns with industry standards and best practices.
2. Supervision and Administration
   1. Supervise and mentor maintenance team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their training objectives.
   2. Manage and maintain training records, including training certificates, training summaries, and personnel information.
3. Lab Management
   1. Oversee the maintenance of demonstration labs, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical power applications.
   2. Ensure that all necessary tools and equipment are available for training purposes.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A degree from a technical or trade school, or equivalent experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to support team members towards achieving personal and plant results.
• Experience with Microsoft Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to comprehend and operate the Maintenance e-Learning Program.

Preferred Qualifications

A technical trade certification or degree is a plus, as is experience with SAP procedures and e-Learning platforms.
