We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Toyota Alabama. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment, troubleshooting and repairing complex systems, and ensuring the overall efficiency and safety of our manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment, including hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex systems, including programmable logic controllers, CNC machines, and robotics.
- Fabricate and machine components to repair jigs, fixtures, and parts.
- Write, program, and troubleshoot electronic equipment, including PLCs and computers.
- Perform basic administrative tasks, including documentation of work performed.
- Industrial maintenance and/or military experience.
- Electrical and mechanical knowledge.
- Demonstrated success in troubleshooting and problem-solving.
- Technical knowledge and skills in PLCs, computers, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motion/motor control, welding, machining, and robotics.
- Ability to work any shift, including overtime, holidays, weekends, and shutdowns.
- Electrical degree, diploma, or certification of completion for studies of electricity.
- Experience working with and/or repairing robots.
- Experience with milling machines, lathes, surface grinders, or programming CNC machines.
