Available Shifts: 12am-8am, 6pm-4am

  • TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) License is MANDATORY for this role
  • Immediate openings with potential for career advancement -- Bonus opportunities for MTSA Security Escort roles with competitive flat rate pay for individuals who demonstrate capability and dedication during their probationary period with the company, with various shifts available both during the day and overnight.

ADDITIONAL WORK POSSIBLE - 7 DAYS A WEEK, ALL SHIFTS (as needed). The more adaptable you are, the more opportunities will be available to you.

HOLIDAY PAY AT TIME AND A HALF (mandatory for new hires)

(Emergency/last-minute/special project calls will be compensated at a higher rate and/or with bonuses)

COMPENSATED PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING AFTER THE FIRST WEEK OF WORK (monthly training required)

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Possess a VALID NJ Security Officer License (SORA)
  • Hold a VALID TWIC card (application process available)
  • Have a VALID Driver's License
  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED, or equivalent experience - Higher Education is advantageous
  • Reliable transportation is essential
  • Must pass a Drug Test and Background Check
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required
  • Basic computer skills are necessary

Shifts are VARIABLE and may include some weekends.

Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of prior security experience is preferred.

If so, we have an excellent opportunity for you. This position offers a chance for flexible individuals to become specialized Security Guards, safeguarding our nation's maritime ports. Our Security Officers are tasked with delivering security services at critical infrastructure facilities, adhering to the Maritime Transportation Security Act of 2002 while complying with strict government regulations. Our personnel collaborate with the Department of Homeland Security, Customs and Border Protection, and the United States Coast Guard to secure our ports and waterfront facilities.

Work sites include high-profile locations. Working at critical infrastructure maritime facilities necessitates a comprehensive understanding of maritime security duties and functions. Consequently, accepted candidates will receive paid online and in-person training at various posts to become port security specialists. Candidates with experience in Petroleum Marine Terminals are highly preferred and may be considered for additional responsibilities within the organization.
