We are seeking a highly skilled Procedural Technologist II to join our team at UNC Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for operating computerized diagnostic and interventional equipment to produce high-quality imaging as directed by physicians.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computerized diagnostic and interventional equipment to produce high-quality imaging as directed by physicians.
  • Follow established protocols and standards of radiation protection.
  • Assist radiologists, cardiologists, and vascular surgeons in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the special procedures/Cath lab or in surgery.
  • Perform a variety of technical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and patient care tasks for patients with cardiovascular disease using radiological and cardiovascular sciences.
Requirements
  • Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science, Emergency Medicine, Surgical Technology, or other related healthcare field.
  • Completion of EKG/Arrhythmia course.
  • Licensure in a relevant healthcare field and RCIS Certification.
  • Must be registered or registry eligible with the respective board for the primary field with one year of experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a standard 40-hour workweek. The work assignment is onsite, and the job is a day shift position.
