Key Responsibilities:- Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough nursing assessments, documenting patient history, and developing individualized care plans to ensure comprehensive and effective care.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring accurate and timely delivery.
- Communication and Collaboration: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and patient satisfaction.
- Education and Training: Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices, new technologies, and emerging trends in emergency nursing.
- Quality Improvement: Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing evidence-based solutions to enhance patient outcomes.
- Education: Current RN license in the state and a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role, with Emergency Department experience highly desirable.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, or related software.
- Work Environment: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer, as well as standing, bending, and reaching.
- Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
