Job Title: Adjunct Faculty, Creative Writing

Roger Williams University is seeking a highly qualified Adjunct Faculty member to teach creative writing courses in our esteemed program. Job Summary:

The Creative Writing Program at Roger Williams University is dedicated to fostering a community of writers who are passionate about the art of storytelling. We are seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach one of our introductory courses, CW110 Narrative in Prose or CW120 Form in Poetry. These courses are designed to introduce students to the fundamental elements of creative writing, including character development, plot structure, and poetic form.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach one of our introductory creative writing courses, CW110 Narrative in Prose or CW120 Form in Poetry
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote student learning and creativity
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of the Creative Writing Program
Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you should have a graduate degree in creative writing or a related field, as well as a record of publication in creative writing.
