Job Overview:
The Rehabilitation Specialist is tasked with delivering targeted interventions and activities aimed at achieving optimal functional outcomes. This role is crucial in enhancing the independence and health maintenance of individuals facing challenges due to physical injuries, illnesses, cognitive impairments, psychosocial issues, mental health conditions, developmental or learning disabilities, or adverse environmental factors.
The Rehabilitation Specialist is also responsible for evaluating patients, determining the severity of their conditions, designing tailored treatment plans, and overseeing the execution of these programs.
Essential Qualifications:
For team members assigned to the specialized orthopedic unit:
- Completion of Annual Orthopedic educational requirements is mandatory upon hiring and must be maintained annually as per the Orthopedic Program(s) Education plan.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) is preferred.
