Job Overview

KIPP Indy Public Schools, a leading nonprofit network of college-preparatory public charter schools, seeks an accomplished and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team. Responsibilities
  • Instructional Leadership: Plan and deliver high-quality, standards-aligned lessons in core subjects, including reading, writing, math, science, and social studies, with a strong focus on foundational literacy skills.
  • Diverse Learning Needs: Use a variety of engaging, age-appropriate instructional strategies and resources to meet the diverse learning needs of all students, ensuring every child is actively involved in their learning.
  • Data-Driven Instruction: Regularly assess student performance and leverage data to inform instructional decisions, providing targeted support and interventions to promote academic progress.
Requirements
  • Certification and Experience: Valid Indiana teaching license or applying for reciprocity with a valid out-of-state license (required), Bachelor's degree in elementary education or a related field (required), and minimum of 2 years of teaching experience (preferred).
  • Skills and Qualifications: Strong understanding of foundational literacy and child development (required), proven record of fostering academic success in diverse, underserved communities (preferred), and experience in using data to guide instruction and improve student outcomes (preferred).
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range, starting at $50,000, commensurate with experience, and a highly competitive benefits package. Opportunities for performance-based bonuses are also available.
