Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Mercy Health System. As a Registered Nurse in our clinic setting, you will have the opportunity to provide compassionate, culturally sensitive, and holistic nursing care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Utilize the nursing process to develop and implement individualized patient plans of care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques and policies.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly.
- Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities and shared governance.
- Utilize clinical expertise to support other units and departments in patient care.
- Escalate patient safety and experience concerns to the appropriate chain of command.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- BSN or agreement to complete a BSN completion program within a specified timeframe.
- Licensed as an RN in the state of practice.
- Approved CPR certification within 90 days.
- 10 hours of continued education.
The Special Physical Demands are considered Essential Job Functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or smell.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
