About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our team in designing and analyzing civil works structures, including locks, dams, and waterfront facilities. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will work closely with national industry leaders and local experts to support clients with structural design.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and analyze civil works structures, including locks, dams, and waterfront facilities
  • Develop structural design plans and specifications
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to research design options and document findings
  • Perform quality control checks of calculations, drawings, and quantities
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to client problems
Requirements
  • BS in Civil/Structural Engineering required (Master's degree preferred)
  • 5+ years of relevant structural engineering experience
  • Professional Engineer (PE) certification required
  • Experience with current structural design methods, codes, and standards
  • Experience with structural concrete and steel design
  • Experience developing structural drawings
  • Experience with structural computer-based design tools (such as SAP2000, SAFE, LPILE GROUP)
  • Working knowledge of BIM, and/or CAD software platforms (such as Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, Bentley OpenBuildings, MicroStation)
  • Working knowledge of 3D FEA structural analysis computer design tools (such as ANSYS)
