School Custodian Opportunity

LCS Facility Group, a leading provider of facilities maintenance and specialty services, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented School Custodian to join our team in Delmar, NY.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that involves cleaning all areas of the school, including classrooms, bathrooms, and common areas. The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of basic housekeeping tasks and provide excellent customer service to students, teachers, and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Restock custodial and stewarding supplies
  • Follow a monthly on-call schedule for weekend and overtime coverage as needed
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to maintain a clean and safe environment

Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in a custodial or housekeeping role (training provided)
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
