Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced AI / MLOps professional with expertise in Azure OpenAI to join our team. This position requires US citizenship for contract award eligibility. We offer competitive compensation, including an estimated $140,000 - $170,000 salary per year.

Azulo LLC is a technology solution provider specializing in data analytics, artificial intelligence, machine learning, software development, and program management. Our team of experts addresses unique challenges faced by federal and state government agencies, as well as private clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement scalable AI applications on the cloud.
  • Streamline machine learning model deployment and management in production environments using Azure services.
  • Leverage public data sources to train and fine-tune AI models, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet project requirements.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AI/ML technology trends and developments.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members, promoting efficient problem-solving.
  • Ensure the scalability and reliability of AI/ML models for production deployment, utilizing CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • At least 3 years of experience in information technology, including Azure and AI/ML.
  • Proficiency in Python and shell scripting, with working knowledge of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their infrastructure needs.
  • Experience with containerizing and deploying web applications in Azure App Service, as well as setting up and configuring Azure AI Services for cost optimization and availability.
  • Familiarity with Retrieval-Augmented Generation concepts, including document processing strategies, vector database technologies, and information retrieval principles.
  • Strong understanding of MLOps principles, including model deployment, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in evaluating and optimizing AI system components through experimentation.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for protecting ML models and data, as well as federal data privacy regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency with AI/ML open-source tools such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
