Psychiatrist - ECT Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Psychiatrist to join our team at Sonora Behavioral Health Center, a leading provider of behavioral healthcare services. As an ECT Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a private practice group and provide ECT services to patients.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry, with experience in ECT intervention. You will be responsible for evaluating patients, developing treatment plans, and providing medical recommendations. Our team operates 5 days a week, with no weekends and minimal call requirements.

• Practice within medical protocols defined by federal and state regulations, as well as by corporate, facility policy or procedures.
• Review medical information on patients to ensure medical stability and to offer medical recommendations.
• Evaluate patients for mental, emotional or behavioral disorders.
• Review and complete medical information for individual care plans, documents services and information in a timely manner.

• Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) required.
• One or more years post graduate degree practice preferred.
• Licensed in the state in which the facility(s) operate.

• Board certification in psychiatry.
• Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.
