Compensation: $34.00 Flat Hourly Rate

The actual compensation for this position will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while accurately selecting exposure parameters.

2. Administer contrast media and medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards.

3. Monitor patients during imaging processes, reporting any irregularities and suggesting necessary protocol adjustments.

4. Adhere to radiation safety protocols to minimize unnecessary exposure to patients.

5. Ensure timely submission of high-quality images and documentation to PACS, maintaining accuracy in lead markers and patient data.

6. Regularly check equipment functionality, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel and ensuring proper maintenance.

7. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including procedure rooms and storage areas.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

Required Credentials:

  • BLS Provider certification obtained within 3 months of hire or transfer.
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (AART) is mandatory. Proficiency in English is required.
