Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Production Specialist to join our team at Great Hire Staffing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Soap Production Operations: Engage in the packaging and assembly line processes.
  • Safely extract soap from molds utilizing both automated and manual hoisting systems.
  • Utilize manual and hydraulic cutting tools to slice soap into loaves or bars.
  • Quality Control: Assess and confirm all specifications of large soap bricks before cutting.
  • Maintain cleanliness and functionality of workstations, equipment, and tools.

Additional Duties May Include:

  • Inventory Oversight: Manage the receipt and storage of raw materials; organize and dispatch finished products.
  • Operate material handling machinery such as forklifts and manual pallet jacks (OSHA Certification is preferred).
  • Handle liquid ingredients using pumps and valves.
  • Package, label, box, and prepare finished goods for shipment.

Packaging Duties:

  • Adapt to various tasks based on production demands.
  • Prepare products for manufacturing and distribution.
  • Inspect products for quality and verify accurate counts.
  • Conduct in-process checks and make necessary inventory adjustments.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail, positive attitude, and reliability.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Prior experience in assembly line or production roles is advantageous.

Job Requirements:

  • Capability to stand for extended periods, including bending and lifting trays.
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull weights up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently.
  • Steel-toed and nonslip footwear is mandatory.

Work Schedule: Various shifts available
