We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team at Emory Healthcare. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver safe, dependable, and effective care to patients recovering from surgery and anesthesia.
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in clinical situations.
- Document patient care and progress in accordance with organizational standards.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years.
- Valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
- BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
