Job Title: Compliance Officer - Environmental Health and Safety

The role of Compliance Officer - Environmental Health and Safety at LORAM Maintenance involves identifying, developing, delivering, and maintaining policies and standards for environmental health and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in training and compliance, with a working knowledge of OSHA and railroad regulations. This position is considered safety-sensitive and requires up to 100% travel, including international trips.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000-$110,000, depending on location and qualifications. A Bachelor's degree in occupational health and safety or business is preferred, but an Associate's degree may be used in combination with experience to meet requirements. Licenses and certifications in railroad safety training are also required.

The key responsibilities of this role include formulating and implementing regulatory compliance policies, procedures, operating rules, regulations, and standards; supporting the NA L&D group by keeping the LMOW credentialing catalog updated; and staying up to date with applicable regulations to ensure maintenance of the Environmental and Safety legal register at a global level. Other duties include communicating changes in regulations to all internal stakeholders, maintaining industry knowledge through participation in relevant workshops and professional development programs, and ensuring proper documentation of auditing processes and action items generated.
