Pediatric Anesthesiology Specialist

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at OHSU is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Assistant Professor Generalist to join our team. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, teaching, and research in the field of pediatric anesthesiology.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical services in pediatric anesthesia, including preoperative evaluation, anesthesia care, and postoperative management.
- Teach and mentor trainees in pediatric anesthesia, including fellows, residents, and nurse anesthetists.
- Contribute to research and scholarly activities in pediatric anesthesiology, including developing and directing research projects.
- Participate in departmental and hospital administration, as approved by the Chair or supervising Vice Chair.
Requirements
- Doctorate in medicine, residency training in Anesthesiology, and fellowship training in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
- Demonstrated competence in patient care and teaching.
- Interest and expertise in research/scholarship/discovery.
