Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team at New York Imaging Service. As a key member of our imaging team, you will be responsible for performing advanced clinical IR procedures and fluoroscopy, assisting in maintaining IR inventory and par levels, and working in conjunction with Recovery Room, CT, and US for IR procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform all advanced clinical IR procedures and fluoroscopy
  • Assist in maintaining IR inventory and par levels
  • Work in conjunction with Recovery Room, CT, and US for IR procedures
  • Transport patients from each area in the facility safely and with proper body mechanics
  • Coordinate with IR MD to ensure all scheduled patients are on schedule and workflow is efficient
  • Assist with clerical and non-technical duties necessary to department operations
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and/or report equipment malfunctions in a timely manner
Requirements:
  • AART registered and in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year Cath Lab/IR experience
  • Advanced computer skills including Google Platform, Microsoft Office, RIS, PACS and EMR
  • BLS certificate
  • Ability to clearly communicate, including, but not limited to, patients, co-workers, management, physicians, and visitors
  • Ability to operate Fluoroscopic equipment
