Responsibilities- Administer and evaluate tests to determine patient functioning
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient evaluations
- Design and fabricate orthotics and adaptive equipment
- Initiate and perform treatments using exercise, manual therapy, physical agents, and rehabilitation
- Educate patients and families/caregivers about patient deficits
- Plan and assist with patient discharge from therapy services and treatment settings
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Three years of experience in occupational therapy
- Constant standing
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs
- Frequent use of hearing and speech for oral communication
- Frequent use of vision for distances near and far
- Occasional bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, sitting, squatting, twisting, and repetitive movements
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs
- Occasional lifting/moving patients
- Occupational Therapist - Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
- Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) - Hand Therapy Certification Commission
- Occupational Therapist - Missouri Division of Professional Registration
