Meat Cutter Floater

The Meat Cutter Floater is a key member of the Retail Meat Department team at Festival Foods. This role is responsible for assisting in various tasks within the Meat Department to provide exceptional products and services to our guests. The successful candidate will be a team player who is committed to delivering high-quality results and providing excellent customer service.

• Meat Cutting and Preparation: Assist in cutting and preparing standard cuts of meat to meet customer demands.
• Guest Service: Provide exceptional customer service to guests, including assisting with finding items, answering questions, and taking special orders.
• Department Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean and organized Meat Department, including restocking shelves, cleaning equipment, and performing daily sanitation tasks.
• Training and Development: Assist in training new team members on meat cutting and preparation techniques, as well as providing guidance and support to ensure success.
• Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
• Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards, including inspecting meat for freshness and quality.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
• Previous Meat Cutting Experience: 1+ year of experience in a meat cutting or related role.
• Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with guests, team members, and management.
• Teamwork and Adaptability: Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 80 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks.
