Overview

Somnia Anesthesia is seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist to join its esteemed team at Providence Regional Medical Center, a Level II Trauma Center affiliated with the state's largest healthcare provider. As a Full-Time Anesthesiologist, you will be part of a compassionate and dedicated team delivering top-notch care to the community, with over 17,000 cases conducted annually, including 4,000 births.

Benefits

Enjoy a competitive compensation package of $591,250 annually, including 8 weeks of paid time off. Additionally, receive a $50,000 sign-on bonus, paid in the first payroll after commencement. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, as well as 401(k) and flexible spending accounts. W2 or PC options are available, and malpractice is provided and paid by the company. A relocation allowance of up to $10,000 is also offered.

Additional Call Rates

As a valued member of our team, you will receive additional compensation for call shifts, including $30.00 per hour for 1st call weekend day and/or night, $30.00 per hour for 2nd call weekend day and/or night, $20.00 per hour for 3rd call weekend day, $30.00 per hour for 1st call weekend nights, and $20.00 per hour for 2nd call weekday nights.

Responsibilities

As an Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for performing cases in 26 ORs, including 2 OBs, with 615 beds and a Level II Trauma designation. Our case mix includes general, ortho, uro, gyn, neuro, vascular, and GI procedures. Available shifts include 10s, 12s, 14s, and 24s, with a typical day running from 7 am to 5 pm. You will also be required to participate in weeknight call on an even rotation amongst the FT team, with post-call day off, and weekend call one weekend per month.

Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, you must possess an active state license, DEA, and State CDS. Board certification is required, as well as ACLS, PALS, and BLS certifications.
