Position Overview

Overnight Safety Officer - 3rd Shift

Company: Friendship Village Retirement Community

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Overnight Safety Officer to join our team. This role involves ensuring the safety and security of our senior residents during the night hours while also performing general maintenance tasks to uphold the quality of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safeguarding property and preventing loss or damage
  • Documenting any irregularities and addressing policy violations
  • Managing trespassers and ensuring a secure environment
  • Responding to emergencies and providing assistance as needed
  • Conducting regular patrols of the premises to ensure safety
  • Inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points for security
  • Protecting company assets from theft, vandalism, fire, and other hazards
  • Performing routine maintenance and addressing issues as they arise
  • Transporting residents using company vehicles when necessary

Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time
  • 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Monday through Friday, with rotating weekends and holidays

Qualifications:

  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
  • Prior experience in security is preferred but not mandatory
  • Possession of a Chauffeur or CDL license, or the ability to obtain one
