Covington Ophthalmology Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Ophthalmologist to join our team at Ochsner Health in Covington, Louisiana. As a Physician in our department, you will have the opportunity to work with a high volume of cataract surgery cases and utilize advanced equipment such as Centurion phacoemulsification machines and Zeiss Lumera Operating Microscopes.

This is a clinic-based position that requires experience in general ophthalmology and anterior segment care, but corneal/refractive surgery interest is also welcome. You will be part of a shared call rotation and enjoy a strong, internal referral network within our integrated practice model.

Our health system utilizes the EPIC medical record platform throughout all facilities, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration between teams. The Northshore region offers a unique blend of affordability, great schools, and community activities, making it an attractive place to live and work.

The estimated salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $300,000 per year, commensurate with experience and training. Additionally, you can expect a comprehensive benefits package, including paid vacation, holidays, and CME opportunities, as well as relocation assistance and malpractice insurance.
