This opportunity is for a Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine Physician to provide locum tenens support, addressing a significant need within the healthcare facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work Schedule: 12-hour shifts, operating on a 7 on, 7 off rotation.
- Work Environment: Inpatient care within an Intensive Care Unit.
- Case Types: Requires a solid foundation in procedural skills including airway management, central and arterial line placements, dialysis catheter insertions, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and percutaneous tracheostomy.
- Credentialing Duration: The process will take a specified number of days.
- Certification Requirements: Must be Board Certified in Pulmonary Critical Care Medicine.
- Life Support Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) are mandatory.
- Licensing: An active Arizona State License is required.
